Zur Pfalz in Hockenheim

Took food to go in the Palatinate today on the 3rd Advent. Beef goulash from the leg. Sensationally good. Not eaten so well in corona times for a long time. Price performance top.

As always, very friendly. Great atmosphere and top food. We love to come :)

Good food, nice staff and a great sheltered outdoor area for smoking and chilling out. Recommendable!

Best Rumpsteak in Town

Had there concert tickets deposited. The operators had simply given these to some people. Could not see the concert because it was sold out. No apology, no drink on the house or something. Only a Achso Yes dumb run. Very annoying, we had a journey of over 4 hours ..

We spent two nights at the Gasthaus zur Pfalz. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The landlord was very friendly, showed us the house parking lot, because on the street all were occupied. It is only a 15-minute walk to the Hockenheim-Ring. The breakfast was extremely delicious, I was especially happy about the smoked salmon, which it gave! 😍

Important information about my review: The operator contacted me and apologized for the circumstances with a 30% refund, which I think is very fair. · The Gasthaus zur Pfalz is currently being intensively renovated. We had to walk through the construction site dirt, we were the only guests and we were all alone in the house overnight. According to the sign on the notice, the guest room and the kitchen are closed until April 5th, 2019. There was no indication of the renovation or closure of the inn when booking and therefore we consider the price of € 79.00 per night, i.e. March 22-24, 2019 with a total price of € 158, to be overpriced. There was no accommodation when asked. On the day of arrival we received the key and on the second day the bill, otherwise only a young man could be reached by telephone. It was a very cold atmosphere. In order to save my honor, it can only be said that the room and bathroom were clean. However, my house dust allergy became active again immediately.
